  1. So far not too much has angered me about this whole boundary discussion/process. I've been concerned, fearful, alittle frustrated, but THIS has pushed me over the edge. What a crappy, one-sided, short-sighted article!

  2. It's an opinion piece - so by definition, it's one-sided. And also short-sighted.

  3. True, but it is the opinion of the editorial board, and their explanation makes it seem like they developed their opinion based on only one side of the issue.
    Fortunately, their basic thesis is that SWES should never have been built, and that AISD should be wiser about building new schools in the future. I say fortunately, because this should be irrelevant to the current FUBTF recommendation.
    However, they also very subtle propose that the Board simply throw out the FUBTF hard fought plan and move vast tracts of our area to the underpopulated schools. I hope all the readers, and the trustees, see how crazy this would be. I'll be there at the meeting to point this fact out.
